Refund policy
BAROQ Returns & Refunds Policy
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange.
We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind. This is due to the perishable nature of our coffee products, which means we are unable to restock or resell returned items. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged upon receipt.
Eligibility
- We do not accept returns or handle product issues for items purchased through grocery retailers (Coles, Woolworths, etc.). In those cases, please seek assistance directly from the place of purchase.
- To be eligible for a return or replacement, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it.
- It must also be in the original packaging.
- A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
Promotions & Cancellations
- We will not honour any promotions, discounts, or offers that launch after the date of purchase.
- Orders cannot be cancelled in order to re-purchase using a promotional code or discount.
- Once an order has been placed, it cannot be cancelled.
Refunds (if applicable) We do not provide refunds for change of mind purchases. This policy exists because our products are perishable and cannot be restocked once returned.
Refunds are only available if your item is defective or damaged and approved after inspection. Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within a certain number of days.
There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable):
- Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
- Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Sale items (if applicable): Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded unless received damaged.
Refunds cannot be issued due to shipping or fulfilment delays.
Exchanges (if applicable) We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.
If you need to exchange it for the same item, please email us at coffee@baroqcoffee.com.au with photos of the issue and your order details.
Shipping
- You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
- Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.
- If you are shipping an item over $75, consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
This policy reflects BAROQ’s commitment to quality, consistency, and zero excess. Coffee is a perishable product; once opened or handled, it cannot be resold. We stand behind every bag we roast — if it arrives defective or damaged, we will resolve it promptly.
